Encased in a breathable, 310 thread count cotton shell, this duvet will keep you cool and comfortable in any weather. Stitch box construction keeps the fill in place, and the duvet compresses easily for fuss-free machine washing. Filled with polyester microgel, our Carmanah duvet is a hypoallergenic choice with great value.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Wash in cold water using a front loading washer on gentle cycle. If using a top-loading machine, wash on a knitwear cycle. If using a powdered detergent, mix with water first to dissolve. Do not use bleach. A whitening agent may be used with a spot test first. Tumble dry gentle cycle on low heat. Use QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to increase drying efficiency.

Too Hot

Making purchase online was very easy and very quick delivery, shorter than the quoted delivery time. The duvet fitted perfectly into the super king duvet cover that we had purchased previously. Unfortunately we found that we were uncomfortable as we became too hot as the night progressed. Even on the cold winter's night we still found it very warm. We have been trying for several months and are getting somewhat climatized. Originally we purchased the wool duvet when the store staff told us that wool will adapt and allow comfort through most seasons, but it was too hot. When we checked options on the website we expected that a "light warmth" duvet would require a light blanket in the cold of winter, but it was way too warm/hot. In the past we would require a heavy blanket, light blanket and quilted cover to keep warm. Unfortunately after 2 duvets form QE home we don't have a comfortable option.

Perfect weight

Bought this duvet because we moved into an apartment and found our old duvet too hot. We have a little less control of our heating. Wanted a lighter one to be more comfortable and this one is the perfect weight.

Great Product

Perfect weight for warmer weather/summer duvet. Super King size fits king bed great (hang length sides and end covers frame). Have tried others in the past, all were too warm.
