The QE '40 Winks' Club (the "Program") is a customer rewards program run by Quilts Etc. (the “Company”) and offered to customers of QE Home, Quilts Etc, and Quilts (“Store”). It is currently not offered to customers of QuiltsEtc.com or QEHomeDecor.com.
The Company may, in its sole discretion, restrict, suspend, amend, extend or otherwise alter the terms and conditions relating to the Program (including earning and redemption rates) at any time and without prior notice. If the terms and conditions have been updated, the Company will post the new terms and conditions on the Company’s Program Website found at QEHomeDecor.com or QuiltsEtc.com and note the date that they were last updated.
To participate in the Program, an individual must be a member of the Program (“Member”). Program membership is granted in Quilts Etc’s sole discretion, and may be withdrawn or suspended in Quilts Etc’s sole discretion with or without notice and without liability to Quilts Etc. An application for enrolment into the Program may be completed at any Store. Only one Program membership is available per customer.
Quilts Etc’s Rewards Points (“Points”) are referred to as 'Winks' in marketing materials.
If Quilts Etc. determines that a Program Member has abused any of the Program’s privileges, fails to comply with any of these terms and conditions, or makes any misrepresentation to Quilts Etc, Quilts Etc may, in its sole discretion, take such actions as it deems appropriate, including without limitation, suspending such Member’s privileges under the Program, revoking any or all of the Points in the Program Member’s Account, and/or revoking the Program Member’s membership in the Program, in each case, with or without advance notice to the Member and without liability to Quilts Etc.
Program Members must advise Quilts Etc immediately of any change to their email address or phone number by contacting a Store or sending an email to info@QEHomeDecor.com.
Points can be earned by Program Members in connection with purchases made at a Store and upon providing a Company sales associate with a valid phone number or email address while making a purchase at a Store. The Points will be deposited into the Program account associated with the phone number or email address provided. Purchases made online at QEHomeDecor.com and at QuiltsEtc.com are not eligible to earn Points.
Program Points are not transferable or assignable.
The number of Points earned by a Member will be based on the current schedule posted in the Program FAQ section at QEHomeDecor.com or QuiltsEtc.com. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue this schedule at any time without prior notification to Club members, at the Company’s sole discretion.
In the event of merchandise refunds, all Points awarded for that purchase or item will be automatically deducted from the Customer’s Program Account used for the original purchase. Points will be deducted at the same rate as they were earned and may impact such Member’s membership entitlements to a specific promotional offer.
Program Points are typically shown on the receipt issued in respect to a purchase. If Points do not appear on a receipt, Members may inquire about the Points awarded relating to the purchase and/or their Points status in general at any Store. All Program Point totals, as shown on in-Store cash register receipts, will be deemed correct unless otherwise substantiated by the Member with evidence satisfactory to the Company. Discrepancies must be addressed by visiting a Store within 30 days of the applicable purchase date.
Program Points will not (unless expressly stated) be issued upon the purchase of Company Gift Cards, but will be issued when these Gift Cards are used to make a purchase.
Except as specifically provided in these terms and conditions, Program Points have no cash value and are not exchangeable for cash. The approximate retail value of the Points will vary depending on the reward chosen at the time of redemption. Points are void if sold, purchased, assigned or transferred, except as specifically provided in these terms and conditions, or in connection with special programs, advertised and/or offered by the Company in its sole discretion.
Program Points can be redeemed for rewards. When enough Points have been accumulated to obtain the reward(s) desired, redemption may occur in Stores only.
Customers will be notified of eligible rewards by the email address they provided. The Company does not guarantee delivery times for any delivery of a reward and will not be liable for any delay that is due to causes beyond its control including without limitation, issues related to email servers, internet transmissions, or any other technical matters that may deter or delay the delivery of emails.
The personal information that the Company collects in connection with the Program is used for analysis purposes only. It is kept completely confidential and is not shared with any third parties. By submitting a Program application form, each Member or potential Member (i) certifies that he or she is over the age of majority in the province or state in which he or she resides (or is supervised by a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms and conditions), (ii) consents to the Company’s collection and use of certain personal information, and (iii) agrees to the terms and conditions of the Program, as they may be amended from time to time.
Except as specifically outlined herein, these terms and conditions represent the only agreement between the Member and Quilts Etc in connection with the Program and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, negotiations and discussions, whether oral or written. There are no representations, warranties, covenants, conditions or other agreements, express or implied, collateral, statutory or otherwise, including implied warranties or conditions of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, between a Member and Quilts Etc. in connection with the Program, except as specifically set forth in these terms and conditions. If any provision in these terms and conditions is determined to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
Conditions and benefits of Program membership for individuals who are employees or retirees of Quilts Etc, its subsidiaries, affiliates and licensees, may differ from those stated herein, and will be communicated by Human Resources.
